Making art has been a part of my entire adult life. After studying Commercial Art in high school, I enrolled in a BFA program at the U of A, later opting to complete an Art Education degree.  Returning to Canada in 2012, after spending 10 years overseas teaching mostly art, I worked with a web designer to launch my WordPress website highlighting my creative abilities in writing, photography, art, music and video production. 

As this position is primarily concerned with video production, I am posting several relevant videos on this page to demonstrate my ability to direct students, write scripts and edit videos. I also invite you to visit the video page link provided to see more samples of my work.

While teaching in the UAE, I worked with my students to produce a short film, God is Love. I wrote the script, directed the students and edited the production.

I supervised. directed and edited this introductory video for the student production of the Rocky Horror Monster Show, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

I wrote, directed and starred in this video application for the position of Traveling Ambassador for Air Transit.

My most recent video, Whole Lot of Bottles, was my entry in the “Got a Minute Film Festival”.

In conclusion, I believe I could be an effective Contractor Performing Arts Instructor II for Strathcona County and suggest we meet to discuss that possibility.
