Teach only Love

This carving was produced with another piece of Douglas Fir from Timberspan and inspired by a quote from A Course in Miracles.

Originally, I hoped it  would be a mantle for a house that was being renovated but I’m very pleased with the final result, which is now hanging at Books & Co. in Prince George.

Started to carve these letters using a drill and jig saw. Wood splitting, rough edges but using my Mastercraft multi-crafter tool did the trick beautifully. What a versatile tool.

Stain and paint added but the work was still in development.
